The PMQ Management Company Limited (PMQ) is inviting creative industry professionals to submit an Expression of Interest for providing curatorial service for “deTour 2024 – design festival” (“deTour 2024”).

A briefing session will be held on 25 April 2024 (Thu) to provide essential details on deTour 2024, among which will include the curators’ role, key deliverables, collaborating parties, schedule and engagement period. Interested parties are encouraged to register for the briefing session by 23 April 2024 (Tue) via the link below.

About deTour
Organised by PMQ, deTour is Hong Kong’s leading design festival held at the Police Married Quarters in Central annually. deTour adopts a different theme for each edition, centered around which creative works by local and international talents will be featured in the form of exhibitions and installations, alongside interactive workshops, design dialogues sessions and guided tours for student groups and the general public. Last year’s deTour was well attended by some 100,000 visitors from all walks of life, from Hong Kong and overseas. The upcoming edition is scheduled to take place from 6 to 15 December 2024. Eligibility
Corporate entity in Hong Kong with valid Hong Kong Business Registration
Company currently engaged in the design and creative industries related disciplines
The company shall propose a team structure to provide the curatorial service, who should possess proven experience and record in providing similar services in the past 5 years leading up to 2024

Stage 4 – Face-to-face interview
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview session to elaborate on their proposals including the concept, execution, and budget, etc

Stage 5 – Award
