A Few Better Things

Curated by Knotti, “A Few Better Things” is a pop-up exhibition for deTour 2015. Knotti is a fashion label combining traditional hand-knitted crafts with a modern twist. Knotti hires women (with qualified knitting skills) who are living in rural areas / government housing in Hong Kong and allows them to work from home with flexible hours. The knotti design team reworks garments to create a one-of-a-kind handmade product. In this exhibition, there will be wall displays all around the room with a working table in the middle with the knitting ladies and Knotti team working on garments to showcase the process of handmade fashion and the finished products.
