This workshop will connect participants with Hong Kong farmlands through sound. Teresa will share her observations and feelings about the farmlands by recording sounds from the places and produces that she is familiar with. Participants will then be led to observe their surroundings through sounds, and to try to record sounds they could relate to farmlands. The workshop will serve as a starting point for participants to learn about the contributions of farmlands on cultural landscape, ecology and social well-being.
Teresa Tsui Wai Shan is the co-founder of Very Ginger HK, a brand that explores the possibilities of local agriculture.
