Digital technology has not only changed the manufacture industry, but also the process of creative thinking and visualization for designers. With the help of 3D modeling software and digital fabrication machines such as 3D printers, we are now entering a paradigm shift where design or inventions can be produced and tested easily in a short period of time. This change has led to a maker movement where people started to create things, share knowledge and resources. This talk will give you a brief intro of what Maker Culture is about and how these makers are using digital fabrication technology to design faster, cheaper and better.
