Traditional Herbal Tea and Herbal Postcard Workshop

1 / 1

With better understanding of Chinese medicine, participants can design postcards for their families using DIY herbal recycled paper to celebrate cherished memories and relieve stress by stimulating the five senses, while getting a taste of the traditional Chinese culture.

In this mini workshop, participants will play the role of a Chinese medicine dispenser using traditional measuring tools and experience life in old herbal tea and Chinese medicine shops. Other than that, we will also practise cooperation, care, harmony and communication.

We strive to promote multiculturalism and build an inclusive society by introducing traditional Chinese ingredients — dried seafood, Chinese herbal medicine and medicinal cuisine to non-Chinese speaking groups of different backgrounds — opening up opportunities for them to learn the traditional Chinese culture and the importance of diet therapy.
