Together We AppreciEAT

1 / 1

As the Chinese saying goes, ‘We share a meal at the table but pursue our individual goals’ (同枱吃飯,各自修行). The feast on our table doesn’t exist for no reason. Every dish or even the sip of a drink is the result of a carefully orchestrated process. From food research and ingredient pairing to product packaging, every aspect of the food production process wouldn’t have been possible without the spirit of craftsmanship. In Hong Kong, many food producers take pride in studying and sharing the art of culinary craftsmanship. Their effort reminds us that food consumption isn’t just about fulfilling our bodily desires but appreciating the sensory pleasure that food can bring us.
