We all know this city is beautiful—but to what extent, and why?
The subtle emotions we sometimes miss amid the routine happenings of the day actually contain our memories, stories and identities. They are small, but they form a big part of our lives. But such feelings are difficult to communicate through prose; their proper realm of expression is poetry.
Writing poetry is a good way to observe the city and the magical moments around us. In this workshop, through colour, sound, space, objects and moods, participants will encapsulate these feelings in poetic form.
Tucked into a quiet corner is Window and Alley, a city-themed select shop where visitors can observe the city, imagine alternative realities and make dreams come true.
Our perceptions been changed by COVID-19; now, life seems to be more than just work and mundane diversions. More people are seeking to understand themselves through creative exposure, and their crafts and artworks add to their cities’ voices. Window and Alley is a haven for these dreamers to experiment, exhibit and experience.
