RE:IMAGINATION

Neville Brody X Wing Shya

Master Class

07.12.2019

10:00 – 17:30

Location: HUB (S710-711)

We tend to see the world and our own practice through familiar patterns, which means we are not usually conscious to it in its entirety. Through experiencing core creative and strategic principles by revealing them in a new way, we can better understand the narratives and intentions in our own communication work and in the work of others.

This dynamic workshop is about deprogramming and rethinking, a creative opportunity to explore and extend our own boundaries.

The Master Class is a one-day course that will be divided into three parts:

(i) Analysis
By exploring Neville’s and Wing’s work and inspirations, we re-learn the concept and message of the work, and how it is represented through visuals.

(ii) Re-Creation
With the analysis made in the first part, the core concept is then re-created/re-constructed in a different medium. Materials will be provided, you are welcome to bring your own laptops.

(iii) Critique
Present your creation to the class with feedback from Neville, Wing and the group.
