PROJECT KEEP PUSHING is a creative project where music meets motion pictures. Apart from screening the two titles from the project and their behind-the-scenes, two creatives involved will share their “Trial and Error” experiences and discuss possibilities of two art forms crossing over.

Anton Fung (Drummer, tfvsjs)

Anton Fung graduated from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in the UK, majoring in drums. He returned to Hong Kong in 2010 and participated in different performances. As a drummer, Anton joins different bands to reach different audiences, such as Mensheng (heavy music), tfvsjs (math rock) and Empty (pop music). Since 2013, he has been the accompanist for different singers in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, including Coco Lee, Pakho Chau, Bibi Zhou, Kay Tse, Janice Vidal, Kary Ng, Jason Chan, Ng Yip Kwan, JW, Phil Lam, etc.

Dan Fong (Digital Visual Artist and Visual Designer)

Dan Fong graduated from the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, and is currently a digital visual artist and visual designer. He is passionate about visual experiments on various media platforms all these years and has worked with many different creative units from theatre to popular music industry, including Zuni Icosahedron, Windmill Grass Theatre and W Theatre etc.

His works have been shown in many internationally toured events, and he began collaborating with various pop singers and taking part in the video/ visual design of their concerts since 2010, collaborating pop singers included Miriam Yeung, George Lam, Priscilla Chan, Pakho Chau, Hins Cheung, Edmond Leung, Endy Chow, Chochukmo, Joker Xue, Yoga Lin, Hebe Tan, Kay Tse, SHINE etc. He also started doing music video directing since 2014, current works include Ellen Loo’s Darling and Chochukmo’s 8.

PROJECT KEEP PUSHING is a project that focuses on the crossover between music and cinematography, produced by Anton Fung, drummer of tfvsjs and director Wong Chun. Together with other up-and-coming local directors including Wong Fei Pang, Lo Chun Yip, Annebell Chan, Dan Fong, Hayman Yip, Chan Hau Chun, Chui Chi Yin and documentary director Joshua Yiu, they exploit different cinematic shooting styles, live drum re-arrangements / recording, and document all that happens behind the scenes. They hope to transform six of tfvsjs’ songs and bring about a new visual and audio experience for their audience, as well as showcasing their full expedition behind this project.
