DETOUR is an annual designextravaganza that improvises public space, adapts historical buildings and features inspiring designs from Hong Kong's young creative talents. In 2013, DETOUR will contain multiple sites and transform a fleet of trams that will connect very different locations across Hong Kong.

BODW is an annual flagshipevent organized by the Hong Kong Design Centre. This year, it will be comprised of the BODW Forum, concurrent events covering brands, design, technology, city and the culture, etc., exhibitions and the inspirational DETOUR community programme.

Organized by HKIA with HKIP andHKDA, the UABBHK 2013, with its central theme of “Urban Edge”,will be held at 2 main venues at Kwun Tong Ferry Pier and Energizing Kowloon East (Fly the Flyover 01) and feature various accompanying events.

Sponsored by Swire Properties, the exhibition aims to present the creativity and energy of Hong Kong architects to the public. During the exhibition, members' ingenious artworks will be showcased through a series of photographs, drawings and paintings, sculptures, installations, handcraft, multimedia, etc.

Very Hong Kong is the city's first independent, annual programme with a mix of community-founded arts, culture, food, lifestyle, sport and design events, held in various public spaces in the city.

The "Upcycling-is-Right" pop-up shop presents three design entrepreneur groups with their authentic Hong Kong products. The design select shop will occupy peak season spanning from late Nov to late Jan at Windsor House, Causeway Bay. This is a pilot project enhancing socio-economic mobility and entrepreneurship amongst Hong Kong creative youth.

Sponsored by Create Hong Kong, Fashion Forward Festival aims to create exposure opportunities for local fashion designers and build up a fashion community in Cheung Sha Wan through public engagement activities and events for industry participants such as workshops, seminars, exhibitions, presentations, demonstration sessions etc.

The Lee Gardens Area will host an exhibition showcasing the development of Causeway Bay from the 1920s until the present day, focusing on architecture, entertainment, dining, fashion and lifestyle. Exhibits include early 20th century classic furniture; antique models, vintage photographs, and original historical artifacts.

Tailored for creative professionals, Hong Kong Indesign: The Event provides a platform for exchanging ideas, learning and creating. Visitors will participate in exclusive launches, workshops and seminars, with multiple networking opportunities in the up to 16 curated showrooms on Hong Kong Island.

Belgian Spirit is an initiative of the three Belgian Regions of Brussels, Flanders & Wallonia. It promotes Belgian architecture, design and fashion in Asia through various events. Its goal is to create and develop long-term collaborations between Belgian designers and their Asian counterparts and clients.
